Diamond mining: - "The Shore-Suckers of the Skeleton Coast" For five hundred years, the Atlantic Ocean has guarded a secret. Deep in the glacial-cut gullies of South Africa’s West Coast lie the "Placer Deposits"—the world’s most concentrated collection of gem-quality diamonds. These are not just stones; they are survivors, washed down from the interior over millions of years, "milled" by the brutal surf until only the flawless, the white, and the indestructible remain. The Problem: For decades, this treasure was the plaything of massive corporations with multi-billion dollar ships. But those giants are slow. They cannot reach the "Surf Zone"—the violent, shallow waters where the highest-grade gravel is trapped in narrow rock gullies. The Solution: Enter the BAVMining 20-Unit Fleet. The Modern Alchemy We don't build ships. We build Smart-Suck Units. Using the rugged "A-frame" technology—proven over a decade of successful operation between 2000 and 2009—we deploy mobile, high-speed suction units directly onto the shoreline. Each unit is a self-contained profit center: a 6-inch pump, a high-frequency classifier, and a team of two elite, local divers trained to the highest international commercial standards.
